I don't have an issue with couples who kiss periodically in public. That is no big deal. Couples have every right to show their love for each other. BUT... if you and you're s.o. are sitting in a public transportation vehicle, like oh say a BART train, filled with people at the start of the afternoon rush hour and start giving each other little pecks on the mouth... then start kissing a little longer... then start making out... throwing your tongues down each other's throats... you're being a little extra with the PDAs. But okay fine... that was a little much, but hey, do you. Express your love. But if you then proceed to take off you jacket and throw it across both of you while you're hugged up real close... and so that only his hands can be seen... eyebrows start to raise. I mean jackets can only cover so much. When you notice her arm moving in a "pumping" action... it isn't to difficult to connect the dots. NOW you're too extra. I mean if it was on a porn set... fine. in the dark in the back of a movie theater... fine (as long as it is rated R). in your car while driving 90 on the freeway... not the safest thing, but still fine. But on a BART train... full of people... at 4:30 in the afternoon... i'm just sayin'... nobody wants (read: needs) to see that.
This is one of the reasons I rarely sit down on BART trains.
yes, this was inspired by today's commute home from work.
