Say what you want to say but the subject of this film chnaged society. The subject of the film is what it is... and the controversy regarding the film "Deep Throat" is historic, but i felt like the could have touched on a few major points a little more... mainly the obscenity charges and where the money went. They do talk about the obscenity charges, but they could have gone into more details because it is amazing that they wanted to charge the actors with these charges for making a film while we were in the middle of a war in Vietnam, etc...One thing I wish they would have discussed more (but i understand why they couldn't) is the "business" side of "Deep Throat." For the record, "Deep Throat" is one of the most profitable films ever made. It only cost $25,000 to make, and has earned over $600 million... but the funny thing is... most people don't know where that money went. In the 1970s, the mob had its hand in many businesses... including porn. That is where the funding came from... and also where most of the profits went. To me that is a very interesting aspect of the film's history because it is something that most people don't think about.
Overall, it was an okay retelling of the film's history, but it could have been better.

Seriously, go ahead and bring back everything from the 80s... hell bring back every style and artist from the 70s if you want... but for real... NO ONE needs to bring back this guy's music, look, etc... Please don't punish society with this stuff again. kthxbye.
