It dawn on me today that I haven't been on a vacation in over 10 years. I'm talking a real vacation where you go somewhere and forget about everything for a week or two. (At this point I trying to remember what a vacation is because I seriously can't imagine what "getting away form it all for a few days" really means.) I haven't been in a position where I could afford to just get away from everything. I've either been in school, working to pay bills or just simply couldn't afford to go anywhere. I've take trips to a few places for a day or two but there have always been reasons for the trips other than to relax. And when I did have the time, I simply didn't have the money to go on a vacation because I was too worried about earning money to be an adult.

See certain things in my life change rapidly. I finally reached a point where I could take the time and possibly afford to go somewhere, but for certain reasons I had to make a change in my life, which means no time for a vacation for me.

Oh well... I can't complain... I guess it is a good thing to constantly be working toward a better life. Maybe the day I touch a million plus I'll be able to finally take a break and go somewhere. But it would be nice to be in one of those pictures above.

Gotta keep grindin and keep-keepin-on :)
