"I hope you have a bad day" (c) Rakim

What happened to smiling? What happened to common courtesy? Has life really gotten so tough that people just feel like they need to walk around mad all day? Everyday i see people just walking around with frowns on their faces. Now I will admit that I have let things get to me from time to time... and have walked around with a look on my face like I was going to punch anyone in fron of me... but for the most part this is me:

I prefer to smile cause life should never be so hard that you can't smile or laugh at something. I don't care what happens during the day... chances are you will see me with a smile on my face at some point. I've reached a point where I've realized that life just isn't that serious.

Part of me is starting to think that common courtesy doesn't exist. To me you should smile when you greet people... you should hold the door for people... you should stand in line... move out of the way when people need you to do so... clean up after yourself, etc... To me these are just things you are supposed to do. But I guess not everyone has been taught these things... damn shame. (I also think I'm cursed with common sense... i'll touch on that one another time.)
